In Memoriam: Margaret Maloney
NEWFOUND SOUND is deeply saddened to share the news of the passing of one of our founding members, Margaret Maloney.
Margaret will be fondly remembered by our longtime members as a kind, gracious, and thoughtful lady — and for her beautiful voice that truly sounded like that of an angel. She was a cherished part of our chorus for many years, contributing greatly to our success and spirit.
Earlier this year, we had the privilege of singing for Margaret’s 93rd birthday — a joyful celebration that now holds even greater meaning in our hearts.
Our sincere condolences go out to her family and friends.
May she rest in peace.
